hello, i saw that photonicat have sd card and ssd slot, can i use it as mobile download station with 5g connection? like if i run android, can i install for example torrent client on android and use internal storage for downloading ?? or set whole router as shared online source for mobile bacups (like backups my phone picture on router ) ??

right now i am deciding between mudi 7 and photonicat, both have very similiar hw specs, but android and its possibilities are more convicing for me, also can i remotely login to router management ??

Hi,
NVMe storage can be used as internal storage on this device. But for 5G connection, only Quectel modems are supported.

hi, i mean, if i can download directly to the ssd INSIDE THE ROUTER ITSELF, like if i can use it as "android phone without screen" with running download app inside

Hi,
You can use NVMe SSD on the device as internal storage (for data storage, like downloading), while only apps themself can only be installed on eMMC.

thanks for reply, will this work on android, or linux too? i dont know about downloading client on openwrt, but i gues linux and adroid work ?

Hi,
OpenWRT and Linux distros will work. Android may depend on the app you are using (some apps may not be able to change the downloading directory).

but by default, android will have full access to all storage, sd card, ssd and emmc ??

Hi,
Almost all storages can be fully accessed except eMMC, just like normal Android devices.
