Hi Team!
In the firmware version Changelog(r7853,r7714) it is stated:
"Hardware requirement: the battery charge limit is only supported on PCB revision A3 boards. Earlier board revisions do not support it."
Could you please clarify:
1) How can I determine the current PCB revision? Is there a way to check it through software, or by looking at the board markings?
2) Could you also share the differences between the PCB revisions? For example, what issues were fixed and what new features or improvements were introduced?
Hi,
The only way to get PCB version is open the back case and check the print around NVMe slot. You can get a string like "NT2421A2" or "NT2421A3", the last two characters are the revision of PCB.
The major difference between A2 and A3 is battery charge limit.
Thanks!
I have A4, is it compatible with battery charge limit?
Could you also share the differences between the A3 and A4 PCB revisions? For example, were any issues fixed or new features introduced?
Hi,
Revision A3 and above (A4) support charge limit.
There are no differences in A3 and A4 in current released systems.
Thanks! No more questions.
checked mine, it is A4. If I put charge limit to 95% it charges to 94% and stops. if i put 100% it charges to 99%. Is that normal behaviour?
